The Sonoma Shanty is about a tiny structure with multiple uses. The goal was to design a small structure that affordable with a size and shape that could be used in many ways. The Sonoma Shanty can be built as a shed, shop, gallery, studio or tiny house.
The plans are very detailed, to the point that you can take them in and hand them to a Home Depot worker and he/she can go and pull everything you need to build the basic structure.
This site was designed to show you what can be done with the Sonoma Shanty and as people finish building their shanties, I want to request pictures of their completed projects to post here to inspire others to build their own.
